Puzzle Clock

 

This alarm clock not only plays an alarm, but in order to actually turn off the alarm, one must solve a simple puzzle each morning.  I think its a good idea, but would get old so fucking fast.  I for one have no problem sleeping through my alarm, but for those who do, this might be the alarm for you.

    I would like this just because I sometimes unconsciously turn off my alarm in the morning and show up late for work. This may get annoying, but at least I would be awake. I'll be following your blog.

    Yea I may have to pick one of these up, I'm becoming increasingly bad at waking up to my alarm, and I feel that this may be the perfect solution!

    This would end up smashed violently against the wall the first time I forgot to turn my alarm off on a Friday night / Saturday morning. I'd probably wake up still drunk and completely incapable of solving a simple logic problem.

    hey that's kind of nifty. i guess if you really had to pee you'd have to keep it ringing while you run to the bathroom though.

    I've seen similar ideas before. Things like puzzle clocks where when it goes off, it launches 4 pieces into the air, and you've got to find them and fit them in to stop the ringing.

    It has a futuristic yet retro look to it. Either way i'd get annoyed after a couple of nights with it.
